Joan Moody

Joan Faith Moody (87) passed away on December 12, 2024, in Rochester, MN. She was born in North Elmham in Norfolk, England on September 2, 1937. Joan was an expert seamstress/tailor, who began sewing at age five. She worked for many prominent clothing stores over several decades. She was a devout volunteer and faithful servant to the Lord, her family and community. In addition, she enjoyed brightening spirits by playing the organ and spent her quiet time reading historical books, biographies, and the bible. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Virgil "Pete" Moody, daughter Donna Roser, grandchildren Eric Schnathorst, Jessica and Paul Roeder, and great grandchildren Arielle Roeder (14) and Brody Roeder (10) . Celebration of life will be held at Rochester Church of Christ on Sunday, December 22nd at 12:30pm. Memorial donations may be made in Joan's name to RCOC - Hands of Compassion.
