Jet Hosking age 93 of Zumbro Falls died Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the Lake City Nursing Home.
Jet was born May 14, 1914 in Oak Center, MN to Alvin & Ethel (Lamb) Black. Jet attended school in Oak Center. She married Clinton Hosking June 1, 1935 in Zumbro Falls, MN, after they were married they lived in Zumbro Falls. She worked as a sales clerk at Tempo, in North Brook Shopping Center in Rochester for 10 years. Clinton died in January of 1987. She moved to the Pepin Plaza in Lake City in 1999. She was a member of the Zumbro Falls Methodist Church, and the Zumbro Falls Senior Citizens Group. She enjoyed playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son David (Linda) Hosking of Zumbro Falls; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren. Jet was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son Keith, brother Ira; sister Anna May Reincke; two half-sisters, Gladys Meyer, Georgia Rabehl, and a half-brother Cole Black.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00 am at the United Methodist Church in Lake City with the Rev. David Neil officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Lake City. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 at the Mahn Family funeral Home Anderson-Peterson chapel lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the services at the church.
