Jerry V. Patraw, 62, of Diamond Bluff died Wednesday at his home. He was born on February 11, 1944 in Durand, Wis., to Calvin and Wilma (Hetrick) Patraw. He lived with his family in Pepin before moving to Diamond Bluff in 1959. He graduated from Prescott High School. On August 29, 1964, he married Suzie Swanson at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Big River and they lived in Diamond Bluff. He worked for Whirlpool in St. Paul until 1984 and then for Holst Excavating retiring in 2005, for health reasons. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. Survivors include his wife, Suzie; one son, Jeff (Amanda) Patraw of Prescott; two sisters, Donna (Max) Barr of Ellsworth and Nona (Richard) Cummings of Oakdale, Minn.; two brothers, John (Linda) Patraw and Joey Patraw all of Ellsworth; aunt, Betty (Lynn) Miller of Brookfield, Wis.; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Lynne Rigg officiating. Burial will be in the Diamond Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred.
