Jerry R. Larson

Jerry Ronald Larson, 75, of Red Wing, died Saturday, December 11, 2021, at his home.  He was born on August 12, 1946, in Pepin County.  For many years he was an over the road truck driver, mainly on the East coast. In the 1960's he served with the Ellsworth Army Reserve under the Pierce County Engineering Company. He enjoyed traveling, especially on the annual Royalty family fishing trip, going to Randy’s Restaurant, stopping in at Josephson’s and the Red Wing Shoe Store.  He collected coins and had a keen interest in paintings.  He was a kind and gentle man with a smile that would enlighten anyone.

Jerry is survived by his brother, Steve Larson of Osseo, WI; one sister-in-law, Diane Larson of Tooele, UT along with other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death his parents, Wilbert and Bernice (Rask) Larson; and his brother, Dennis Larson.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2021, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.  Burial will be at the Sabylund Lutheran Cemetery near Stockholm.   Memorials are preferred to the St. John's Lutheran Church.
