Jerry William Fuchs, age 62, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, formerly of Byron, died Tuesday (June 17, 2014).
Jerry was born Jan. 4, 1952 in Rochester to Roy and Arlene (Glassmaker) Fuchs. He was raised in Byron, and graduated from Byron High School in 1970 where he was active in football, basketball, and baseball. He married Linda Mulholland in Sept. of 1972, they were later divorced. He was a plumber in Tennessee. Jerry was a farmer at heart, and loved raising farm animals. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, woodworking, and wood carving, and was an avid sports fan, following the Vikings and the Twins.
Survivors include four daughters, Jennifer Fox, Shawna Fuchs, and Cami Fuchs, all of Rochester, and Amber (Brian) Graves of Springfield, TN; two sons, Roy (Teresa), and Jason, both of Rochester; eleven grandchildren, his mother Arlene Fuchs of Byron, MN; and four sisters, Bonnie Seaver of Rochester; Kathleen (Dave) Yennie, and Linda (Tim) McPhee, both of Byron; and Tresa Martinez of Madison, WI. He was preceded in death by his father Roy, and his nephew Darin.
