Jerry Dean Bork

Jerry Dean Bork, age 72, of Wanamingo, passed away Monday March 14, 2011 at his home.
Jerry was born on January 23, 1939 in Plymouth, IA to Clarence and Muriel (Buehrer) Bork. He worked on the railroad for over 35 years. He was the Section Foreman in Wanamingo for several years until the railroad was taken out of the area. The he worked on the railroad in the Owatonna area for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling and his cars. He also enjoyed watching Nascar and always cheered for the Fords. He truly enjoyed life. He will be sadly missed.
Jerry is survived by his brother, Dean (Carol) Bork of Wanamingo; nephews, Shaun Bork of Bellechester and Travis Bork of Zumbrota; and a niece, Bridget Bork of Wanamingo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Muriel; and two brothers, Gene Bork and James Bork.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wanamingo with the Reverend Christopher Culuris officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Grafton Cemetery in Grafton, IA.
