Jeanette Strusz

Jeanette Selma Strusz, 70, of Red Wing, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 24, 1946 in Red Wing to Leonard and Mildred (Swanson) Anderson. She graduated in 1964 from Red Wing Central High School. On October 2, 1965 she married Lenny Strusz. They lived in Red Wing where she worked at Siewert's Garage for a few years and then for 28 ½ years at Jostens, retiring in September 2004. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and crocheting, took great pride in her home and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Lenny; three children, Kim (Brent) Honcharenko of Rosemount, Amy (Bob) Carlson of Vasa and Tony Strusz of Red Wing; eight grandchildren, Marcus, Kirstin and Maren Honcharenko, Katie, Molly and Nathan Carlson and Ryan and Brooke Strusz; one sister, Barb (Neal) Siewert of Red Wing and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private family service and burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. Memorial are preferred to Mayo Clinic or donor's choice. Funeral arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
