Jean Marie Berk

Jean Marie Berk passed into the loving arms of Jesus August 25, 2021 at her home.  Jean was born July 27, 1963 in Zumbrota to Oliver and Margie (Behm) Berk.

She attended classes in Rochester, ending her education at John Marshall High School.  She worked for over 20 years with Opportunity Services on work crews at several locations, including Kid Duds and MidWest Imports in Cannon Falls, and finishing up the last several years on the kitchen crew at Kasson School.

Jean loved her music and looking at her books.  She loved celebrating birthdays and holidays, Christmas being her favorite.  She loved the lights and the music.

Jean is survived by sisters Linda (Lowell) Riker of Zumbrota, Nancy (Tim) Prins of Isanti, niece Karen (Josh) Klindworth, niece-in-law Becky Riker Moe, nephews Nathan (Stacy) Prins, Luke (Kristen) Prins, Caleb Prins, Joel (Erin) Prins, Adam (Mary) Prins.  Also surviving are grand nieces and nephews, cousins, and an uncle.

Welcoming her to Heaven are her parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, a nephew, and cousins.

We will miss that beautiful smile and contagious laugh.

Funeral services will be held Saturday August 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM Our Saviours Lutheran Church in Zumbrota.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will follow at Zumbrota Cemetery.
