Jane Oliver

On Wednesday, August 25, 2021 Jane Oliver, 93, mother of 4 children passed away at the age of 93. She died peacefully, surrounded by family.

Jane was born May 31, 1928, in Park Falls, WI to Conrad & Martha Olsen.

She graduated from Park Falls High School and went right to work at a local bank. After a short stint in the banking business she went to work for Social Security Administration where she worked as a claims adjuster for over 40 years.

She married John Oliver and that union produced 4 children.

She was an active member of Austin Baptist Chapel in Austin, MN when she was living there. Jane was devout in her faith in God and read her worn out bible daily. Scripture flowed from her mouth easily and her favorite verse was Joshua 24:15, paraphrased "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord." Jane was very generous in supporting Christian missions and individuals in need.

Her youngest and oldest children kept her busy with their antics during their teenage years but her biggest challenge was caring for her two special needs children which she did lovingly until her recent years.

Jane is survived by her 4 children, John (Roxie), Conrad, Mark, and Marilyn; grandchildren, Velvet (Neil) Haisley, Justin (Anne) Oliver, and Jacob (Yesenia) Oliver; great-grandchildren, Shelby Haisley, Ethan Oliver, Mitchell Oliver, Emersyn Oliver, and Indy Oliver; and numerous nieces and nephews that were always kind to her, visited her often, and showered her with kind gestures. They lovingly referred to her as Aunt Jane.

Preceding her in death were her father and mother, Conrad and Martha Olsen; and her siblings, Evelyn (Lloyd), Alda (Clyde), Cyrus (F aye); and one grandson, Joel Oliver.

Memorial service will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel

Memorials are not requested, but can be sent to your favorite church or charity.
