Jane L. Crumpler

Jane L. Crumpler, age 80, of Zumbrota died Sunday evening May 22, 2011, at Zumbrota Health Services. Jane was born on December 18, 1930, in Muskegon, MI, the daughter of Isaac and Elsie (Millard) Druif. She graduated from high school in Muskegon and went on to nursing college at St. Luke's in Chicago, IL. She married Charles Losensky in May of 1954 and they began their life together in St. Cloud, MN. Later they moved to Niles, MI to raise their family. Charles died in 1977 and Jane married Thomas Crumpler in November 1980. Jane worked at Pawating Hospital as a registered nurse, and after retirement spent a number of years as a hospice care nurse. Thomas died in 1997, and Jane moved to Zumbrota, MN in 2000 to live with her daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren. She became a resident of Zumbrota Health Services in July 2010. Jane was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. Always on the go, Jane enjoyed quilting and knitting, gardening, and traveling. Jane was a very caring person and always had a smile for everyone. One of her greatest joys was her family.
She is survived by her three children, Paul (Arzetta) Losensky of Bloomington, IN, Ike Losensky of Bloomington, IN, and Ruth (John) Sheets of Zumbrota, MN; and three grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, and Hannah Sheets.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Charles Losensky, Thomas Crumpler; one brother, Arthur Druif; and one sister, Eleanor Druif.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Larson Chapel in Zumbrota with Father Tim Dolan presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
