James Jones

James John Jones, 51, of Welch died unexpectedly Friday January 21, 2011 at his aunt's home. He was born November 16, 1959 to Donald and Dorothy (Byer) Jones. He graduated from Capital City School in St. Paul. He was a lifelong member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He farmed for many years with his family and enjoyed hauling cattle.

He is survived by his aunts and uncles, Dolores Byer of Welch, Genive King of Winterset, IA; Morris (Ruth) Jones of Welch, Ruby Kane of Grand Junction, CO, David Jones of Osceola, IA, Clifford (Jolene) Jones of Linneus, MO; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy, father Donald, sister Nancy Tackabury, and grandparents.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 26, 2011 at Seventh- day Adventist Church with Pastor Bill Nixon officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 25, 2011 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and one hour prior to the service at the church.
