James R. Eisenmenger

James R. Eisenmenger, age 79, of Frontenac, Minnesota passed away Wednesday, June 08, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. He was born on March 21, 1937 to Marshall and Helen (Finke) Eisenmenger. He grew up in Sherburn, MN.
James married Joan Newman on October 24, 1959 in Minneapolis, MN. They lived in the Twin Cities area until moving to Old Frontenac in 1974. He was an over the road truck driver for 40 years as the owner/operator of Eisenmenger Trucking; leased to ACE Lines, Knudsen Trucking, Bud Meyer and Mercer Trucking. After retiring he worked for the Lake City Cemetery Association. James enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Murphy. He was also an avid Minnesota sports fan.
James is survived by his wife of 57 years Joan; son, Steven Eisenmenger of Ely, MN; daughters, Susan Eisenmenger of Frontenac, and Tracey (Tony) Wiech of Red Wing; two grandchildren, Ashley Gerberding, and Amanda Windels; three step-granddaughters, Chara, Sky, and Deborah Spengler of Ely; four great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Henry, Jake and Dean; one brother, Jack (Carol) Eisenmenger of Green Valley, AZ; and one sister, Diane Eisenmenger of Lake City.
He is preceded in death by his parents
A Celebration of James Life will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Tuesday, June 14th at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Following the Celebration of Life for Jim, a luncheon will be held at the Frontenac Sportsman's club starting at 5:30.
