James Milton Eggenberger

May 17, 1962 — March 14, 2014

James Milton Eggenberger, age 51 of Oronoco passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer at his home in Oronoco surrounded by his family.
He was born on May 17, 1962 in Lake City to Milton and Karron (Albrecht) Eggenberger. He grew up in the Lake City area. He attended Lincoln High School in Lake City. James went on to serve his country in the National Guard. He was known as a jack of all trades and worked in the Red Wing and Lake City area for most of his life. He loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. He spent many hours restoring old cars. Most of all, James enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by two sisters, Lynne (Dylan) Matsch of Oronoco and Chris (Rick) Boyum of Spicer; daughter, Michelle Henry of Bloomington and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lori Tighe and Judy Andrea.
A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held Saturday, March 22nd from 1 to 5 at the Lake City Sportsman's Club.
