James Allen Dellwo

James Allen Dellwo, 66, passed away peacefully from a short, aggressive bout of lung cancer on March 1, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Mn. He most recently resided in Red Wing, MN

James, also known as “Jim” or “Jimmy” by friends and family, was born July 13, 1955 in Shakopee, MN to Harley Dellwo and Eva Carpenter. He was raised mainly by his mother Eva and stepfather George Burkhart.

Jim met his companion, Susie Cox in 1982 along with two bonus children. Jim and Susie had two daughters together as well.

Jim is survived by his companion, Susie Cox; two daughters, Andrea (Cory) Meyer of Lake City, MN and Arminta (Eugene) Dellwo of Red Wing, MN, two bonus children, Theresa (Jamison) O’Reilly of Prescot, WI and Anthony Cox of Charles City, IA; his sister, Kelly (John) Oberle of Cottage Grove, MN, five granddaughters, Raelynn, Ashlynn, Lilia, Claire and Sydney, two grandsons, Colton and Chase, four bonus grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and loving sister, Deborah Tuma.
