Ivan Carlson

Ivan Duane Carlson, 65 of Welch, died on July 28, 2011 at his home. He was born August 10, 1945, in Red Wing, the son of Clarence and Evelyn (Lindstrom) Carlson. He grew up in the area and graduated from Red Wing Central High School. He attended the University of Minnesota graduating in 1968 with degrees in Psychology and Mathematics. After finishing school he returned to Welch and where he farmed. He also served in the Army Reserves.

He is survived by one brother, Harlow (Karen) Carlson of Hastings. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother in infancy and one sister, Judith.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Cross of Christ Lutheran Cemetery of Welch. Funeral arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
