Isabel M. Zarbock

Isabel "Izzy" Marie Zarbock, 86, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park. Her husband, Leo "Tiny" preceded her in death just a short time ago, on December 29, 2009.
Izzy was born August 25, 1923 in Amery, Wisconsin, to Emil and Mabel Christianson. Her family moved to Red Wing and she attended school there. On June 3, 1942 she married Leo Zarbock at First United Methodist Church in Red Wing. She had worked at LaGrange Shoe, Red Wing Shoe and Munson Printing. She returned to work at Red Wing Shoe, and retired in 1984. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing, having made clothes for her daughter when she was a child. She also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeaney Hauschildt of Red Wing; grandchildren, Brett (Jenny) Hauschildt of Red Wing, Holly (Jeff) Peterson of Sartell, MN and Ryan (Angela) Hauschildt of Red Wing; great-grandchildren, Brittany and Whitney Hauschildt, Grace and Sam Peterson, Connor Hauschildt and Chris, Ashley and Brenna; 2 sisters, Mildred (Phil) Berg of Red Wing and Carol (James) Fossell of Wild Rose, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her husband; 2 sisters, Dilly Riegelman and Pearl Quade and one brother, Chris Christianson.

Memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the chapel at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park with Dar Reeck officiating. Following the service there will be a reception and celebration of Izzy's life at 3:30 p.m. at the American Legion in Red Wing.
