Irma Elvir

Irma Sylivia Elvir, CRNA, of Rochester, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at her home on December 27, 2024, at the age of 100. Born in La Ceiba, Honduras, on May 4, 1924, she moved to the United States at 25 years old and settled in Rochester. She retired from the Mayo Clinic as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Irma had a passion for traveling, dog obedience, and agility. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings and is survived by nieces, other family members in Chicago, Anchorage, and Rochester, and her beloved dog Amigo 6. The "Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass" will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel, with Father Jim Starasinich officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
