ROCHESTER ? A funeral Mass for Irene E. Warmke will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Church of St. John the Evangelist with Rev. Gerald A. Mahon officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Ms. Warmke, 84, of Rochester, died Tuesday (July 4, 2006) at Grand Meadow Health Care Center in Grand Meadow, MN. She was born Jan. 24, 1922 in Easton, MN, and attended country and Catholic Schools. She graduated from Delavan High School in Delavan, MN in 1941 and then attended Hamilton Business College in Mason City, IA. She worked as a Transcriber for the Adult Probation Department in San Francisco, CA for 17 years. She retired and moved to Lovelock, NV in 1984 and moved to Rochester in 2002. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and volunteer community work. She was a member of the Church of St. John the Evangelist. Survivors include three sisters Agnes Goette of San Luis Obispo, CA; Anna Mae Auer of Fallbrook, CA; and Loretta Seibert of Madelia, MN; and one brother Bernard (Mary) Warmke of Grand Meadow.
