Inez O. Gullickson, age 88 of Wanamingo died on Sunday morning, July 23, 2006 at the Zumbrota Nursing Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Wanamingo Lutheran Church in Wanamingo with Reverend Barbara Kopperud officiating. Burial will be in Wanamingo Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 25, 2006 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Mahn Family Funeral home ? Larson Chapel in Zumbrota and on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Inez Orpha Reierson was born on December 21, 1917 in Belview, MN to Ole and Irene (nee Swanson) Reierson. She grew up on the family farm and attended Belview schools. On June 11, 1939 she married Wilbur Gullickson in Rochester. They lived on several farms before moving to rural Wanamingo in 1941. They farmed near Wanamingo until moving into town in 1964. In 1965 Inez started working at Maple Island Creamery in Wanamingo and retired in 1984 after nineteen years. Inez was an active member of Wanamingo Lutheran Church and she enjoyed quilting, sewing, square dancing, traveling, crafts and painting. Inez is survived by her husband Wilbur of Wanamingo, four sons, Eugene (Barbara) Gullickson of Pine Island, David (Alice) Gullickson of Rochester, Jim (Char) Gullickson of Cannon Falls and Neil Gullickson of Wanamingo, fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one brother, Walter (Alida) Reierson of Fontana, CA. Inez was preceded in death by two great grandchildren, one sister and three brothers. Casketbearers are her grandsons Jeffrey, Gene Alan, Daniel, Jim, Justin and Josef Gullickson.
