Ina May Holden age 95 of Lake City died Thursday April 20, 2006 at the Lake City Hospital. Ina was born May 31, 1910 to George & Alice (Walters) LaMont in Oak Center, Minnesota. Ina graduated from Lincoln High School in Lake City. She married Elton Holden in 1928 in Lake City. She worked for Dr. Bowers & Dr. Gjerde in their clinic in Lake City. Ina then worked at Gould in Lake City from 1953 until her retirement in 1973 in the payroll department. Elton died February 5, 1985. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lake City. She was also active in many different church groups. She enjoyed playing cards and quilting. Ina was survived by two daughters Vanda (Richard) Sprick of Lake City, Ina Mae ?Skeeter? (Harry) Imber of Spring Valley, CA; one son George (Lee) of Cut Bank, Montana; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister Ada Pinson; one brother Edwin LaMont and a daughter in-law Gaitha Holden Funeral services will be held Monday April 24, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Lake City with the Reverend Donald Jones officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Lake City. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 5 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church.
