Idella L. Kyllo age 82 of Wanamingo died on Tuesday evening March 9, 2010 at the Kenyon Sunset Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 12, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wanamingo with Pastor Clark Cary officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Larson Chapel and on Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Idella Louise Iverson was born on April 22, 1927 in Wanamingo to Lasse and Inga (nee Hegvik) Iverson. She grew up in Wanamingo and graduated from Wanamingo High School in 1945. After graduation she worked at Security State Bank in Wanamingo. On September 10, 1949 she married Orion K. Kyllo at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wanamingo. They farmed inside the village limits of Wanamingo for sixteen years. Later they purchased a farm in Roscoe Township and lived there for forty years. Idella and Orion moved into Wanamingo in March, 2003. Idella was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was active in her circle and quilting group. She was a member of the Goodhue County Extension Group, enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, quilting and traveling.

Idella is survived by her husband, Orion of Kenyon; her children, Leslie (Cheryl) Kyllo of Goodhue, David (Shellie) Kyllo of Eagan, Jeffrey (Kathy) Kyllo of Rocheser, and Janet (Brian Gunderson) Lohmann of Richfield; nine grandchildren, Leann Kyllo, Brandon Kyllo, Anna (Ryan) Miller, Billy Kyllo, Susie Kyllo, Brady Kyllo, Kelli Kyllo, Josh (Lyndsay) Busby, and Tyler Lohmann; and two great grandchildren, Hunter Busby and Benjamin Miller. Idella was preceded in death by her parents, Lasse and Inga.

Casketbearers are her grandchildren, Leann, Brandon, Billy, Susie, Brady and Kelli Kyllo, Anna Miller, Josh Busby and Tyler Lohmann.

The family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church or Trinity Cemetery Fund.
