Hubert W. Moehnke, Jr., 82, of Rochester, died Tuesday (June 12, 2012) at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Hubert William Moehnke, Jr. was born Sept. 5, 1929, in Farmington Township, Olmsted County, Minnesota to Hubert F. and Elizabeth (Rubow) Moehnke. He graduated from Rochester High School and was a farmer in the Farmington Township area.
After retirement Hubert enjoyed spending winters in Zephyrhills, Florida, visiting relatives in Georgia on an annual basis, and travelled to many different states. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
There are no immediate survivors. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Lorraine Moehnke, and his brother, Kenneth.
The funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. William H. Otte officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
