Hilliard Robert Nesseth

The Funeral for Hilliard R. Nesseth will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Aspelund, MN, with the Rev. Martin Horn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Nesseth, 77, of Kenyon, MN, died Friday, (Nov. 5, 2010) at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Bob was born July 17, 1933 on the family farm in Wanamingo Township, Goodhue County, MN, to Rosvold and Alice (Voxland) Nesseth. He was raised on the family farm and attended country schools. On Oct. 23, 1954 he married Lolis Swee at Lands Lutheran Church, Zumbrota, MN. He was a life long farmer and truck driver. He also operated Nesseth Milk Transfer for twenty three years, sold farm equipment, and did custom baling. The couple moved to Deerwood, MN in 2003 and returned to Kenyon earlier this year. He was currently a part time truck driver for Clementson Trucking of Pine Island, MN. Bob greatly enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting, and playing cards. He was a member Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lolis, two sons, Michael (Julie) of Deerwood, and David of Kenyon; his daughter, Sandra "Sandi" Amundson of Rochester; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Rosyln (Don) Richie of Chandler, AZ; and Maxine (Lester) Greseth of Wanamingo; his brother, Darrell (Lovey) of Zumbrota; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son in law Douglas Amundson.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Mahn Family Funeral Home Larson Chapel in Zumbrota, and one hour before the service at the church on Monday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
