Hazel Duden, 73, of Red Wing, MN passed away on Tuesday January 20, 2009 at her home.

Hazel was born December 06, 1935 to Clarence and Pearl (Stephan) Haradon Jr. in Lake City, MN. She grew up in the Lake City area. On February 27, 1954 Hazel married LeRoy Duden in Lake City. They lived in the Lake City area and in 1967 they moved to Hay Creek Township.

She was employed at Red Wing Pottery and Rivera Kitchens in Red Wing. Her many hobbies included knitting, crocheting and collecting Red Wing Pottery, gardening and picking strawberries. Hazel also enjoyed fishing and traveling with her sisters.

Survivors include her husband LeRoy, 3 daughters, Donna (Roger) Swanson of Carrington, ND, Ann Longhibler of Camdenton, MO, Julia (Douglas) Rother of Welch, MN; 2 sons, Gene (Rose Marie) Duden of Kenyon, MN, Russell (Dawn) Duden of Red Wing, MN; 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren; 3 sisters Dorothy Adler of Frontenac, Delores (Bill) Berns of Iowa, Harriett Krusemark of Plainview. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, Catherine Haradon, Henrietta Eastman, Darlene Grogan and great grandchild Marley Rother.

Funeral service will be held Saturday January 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City with the Rev. Dennis Valleau officiating. Visitation will be Friday January 23, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson Peterson Chapel Lake City and one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Lake City. Pallbearers, Jamey Swanson, Russell Duden Jr., Joshua Duden, Thomas Rother, Richard Rother, Sara Bassett.
