Harry E. Stewart
Harry Eugene Stewart, age 70, of Red Wing, died Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Red Wing Health Center. He was born September 2, 1945, to Lyle Sr. and Sarah (Scott) Stewart in Red Wing. He attended Burnside School, and graduated from Red Wing Central High School.
On March 6, 1971 he married Helen Holden at United Lutheran Church. They later divorced. He married Shirley Mudgett in 1993, she passed away in 2000.
Harry was a janitor at the Red Carpet Bar in Bay City, WI, St. James Motel, IRC, and Riedells for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his son, Jesse and his significant other, Margie and Margie's daughter, Loretta and also Loretta's son, Jordan. He also liked collecting model cars and going on drives.
He is survived by son, Jesse Stewart of Red Wing; significant other, Margie Brown of Red Wing; sister, Shirley (Dave) Sommerfield of Frontenac; two brothers, Lyle Jr. (Nolie) Stewart of Frontenac and Gerald (Karen) Stewart of Red Wing; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley; his parents, Lyle Sr. and Sarah; an infant sister, Helen, sisters, Ellen Varnado and Elaine Mida; brothers, Alfred Sr., George, and Charles Stewart.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing. Burial will take place at Burnside Cemetery.
