Harold Lostetter

Harold Everett Lostetter, 86, of Red Wing, died Wednesday at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park. He was born on July 30, 1921, in Spooner, Wisconsin, to Harold and Clara (Hawkins) Lostetter. He attended schools in Pepin and on May 25, 1942, he was married to Fern Edlin in Pepin. They farmed with his parents for a number of years and also at the Norris Larson farm. From 1945- 1948 they lived in Lake City where he worked for Tennet and Hoyt Flour Mill. They moved to Claybank in rural Goodhue and then to Red Wing in 1958. He was employed at S. B. Foot Tannery, Hi-Park Dairy, Bay State Flour Mill and then Twin Bluff Middle School as a custodian retiring in 1988. Fern died on September 5, 1990. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing, playing cards and going to the trailer at Spirit Lake near Frederic, Wisconsin.

Survivors include one son, LaVern of Red Wing and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Fern and one sister.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Rev. Todd Engel officiating. Burial will be in the Stockholm Cemetery in Stockholm, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service.
