Harlan H. "Smo" Fellman, 79, of Red Wing, died Monday April 11, 2011 at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. He was born on May 27, 1931, in Red Wing, to Christian and Emma (Hesbeck) Fellman and graduated from Red Wing High School. He worked at Red Wing Shoe Company for 39 years. He was a member of the Redmen Club for over 50 years and enjoyed bowling, traveling and golfing.
He is survived by one sister, Gladys Siewert of Red Wing; two brothers, Leonard Fellman of Big Lake, and Marvin (Judy) Fellman of Maple Grove, and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Fellman, Dorothy Hauschildt; and one brother, Kenneth Fellman.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Kristen Schlauderaff officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or donor's choice. www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
