Gudrun `Gudy` Jagusch

Gudrun ?Gudy? Genevieve Jagusch, 93, of Red Wing died Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. She was born on October 31, 1912 in Zumbrota to John and Sophie (Nerison) Trelstad. She attended school in Zumbrota. She worked at the Farmer?s Store in Red Wing for over 25 years. On July 3, 1947 she married to Robert Jagusch at Minneola Lutheran Church and they lived in Red Wing. A member of United Lutheran Church she was active in the ladies aid, Phebeans, and was Sunday school secretary. She enjoyed gardening, her flowers, needlework, and fishing and was very proud of her family.Survivors include her husband, Robert, two daughters; Pat (Peter) Valtakis of Red Wing and Linda (Tom) Wrzos of Coon Rapids; two grandchildren, Andrew and Katarina Wrzos; one brother, Sigrid Trelstad of Minneapolis and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bert Trelstad and one infant brother.Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2006 at United Lutheran Church with Rev. Randall Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the St. John?s Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Andrew and Katarina Wrzos. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2006 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and at the church for one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to the church.
