Grace E. Kuhl age 93 formerly of Florence Township, passed away Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Lake City Nursing Home.
Grace was born September 27, 1914 in Florence Township to Henry & Minnie (Peters) Kuhl. Florence graduated from Red Wing High School and then attended Normal Teachers Training and she taught in rural schools in the Frontenac area. She taught for many years until she suffered a stroke. She lived on the family farm in Florence Township. Grace has been a resident of the Lake City Nursing Home since 1994. Grace was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Frontenac.
Grace is survived by three nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Helen Kuhl, Henrietta Kohn and two brothers Elmer and Erwin.
A funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Mahn Family Funeral home Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City at 1:00 pm with Rev. Christopher Hoppe officiating. Burial will be in the Frontenac cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the services at the funeral home.
