Gloria Whalen

Gloria Jean Whalen, 70, passed away December 14, 2024, at her home in Rochester.

Gloria was born January 28, 1954, in Rochester, Minnesota to Arnold and Dorothy (Gray) Zimmerman. She graduated from Byron High School in June of 1972. In 1983, she married Mike Whalen. Gloria enjoyed camping, boating, and traveling to Mexico with her husband. She also liked to frequent the local VFW and play pull tabs. Gloria retired from Dison's Cleaners after 29 years of service.

Gloria is survived by sisters, Sandy Hanson of Stewartville, Gail Keckhafer of Rochester, and Tammy (John) Ziemer of Rochester; sister-in-law, Theresa Zimmerman of Mantorville; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Michael; her sister Sharon Button and her brother Arnold Zimmerman, Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday December 28, 2024, at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel.
