Glenn Oscar Ottem

Glenn Oscar Ottem, 74, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at the Red Wing Health Center. He was born October 13, 1934 to Oscar and Julia (Friese) Ottem. He was born and raised in Red Wing and graduated from Red Wing High School in 1952. He then went to work at Red Wing Shoe Company where he worked for 42 years. He married Helen Nelson on March 19, 1955 at Bethel Covenant in Ellsworth, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; sons, Steve Ottem of Red Wing and Jay Ottem of Red Wing; daughter Deanna (Steve) Stellrecht of Welch, and four grandchildren, Kaela, Korbyne, Kamryn, and Keaton. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marlys Longsdorf, and infant brother Kenneth Sterling Ottem.
