Glenda Mott

Glenda E. Mott age 63 of Lake City and Punta Gorda, FL. died Tuesday July 25, 2006 in Lake City. Glenda was born March 23, 1943 in Conneaut, Ohio to Gilbert and Viola (Nigh) Thompson. She graduated from Northwestern High School in Albion, PA. in 1961. Glenda married Harry Mott February 21, 1963 in Chicago, IL. They lived in the Bemidji and Cass Lake area until moving to Rochester, MN in 1985. They had a great love for sailing and they spent the summer on their sail boat in Lake City and their winters in Punta Gorda, FL. She was a loving mother and wife, devoted to her family and she always found time for her friends. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Greg (Kelly) of Cannon Falls, Newell (Kristine) of Dodge Center; two daughters Wendy (Scott) Iverson of Kasson, Cyndi (Kurt) Reed of Kasson; nine grandchildren; one sister, Norma Huntley of Monroe, MI, one brother, Irv Thompson of Sharpsberg, GA; one half brother, Don Thompson of Glendale, AZ; one half sister Sandy Sheppard of Glendale, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Lake City Yacht Club on Monday, July 31, 2006 at 6:00 p.m.
