Geraldine Marie Seymour, 79, of Red Wing, died Saturday, February 25, 2017, at St. Crispin Living Community, Seminary Home. She was born on October 2, 1937, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to Leo and Lucinda (Gibson) Goulette. She graduated from Ellsworth High School and then for a few years worked at Smead's Manufacturing in Hastings. In 1955 she married Donald Seymour. They lived in River Falls, Ellsworth, Hager City, Bay City and Red Wing. She worked at Jostens for a number of years. Following retirement she and Donald traveled a alot and wintered in Rock Port, Texas. They also would spend time at Staples Lake. Donald died on February 20, 2016. Geraldine was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed playing bingo, cards and Yahtzee. She also liked to swim and line dance.
Survivors include one son, Roger (Patti) Seymour and one daughter, Wendy Seymour all of Hager City; seven grandchildren, Trisha, Vanessa (Tony), Mandy (Jason), Keegan (Kat), Kayla, Annaleise (Chris) and Seth (Chelsea); 11 great grandchildren, Danielle, Kailey, Eve, Payton, Madison, Edyn, Alyvia, Aubrynn, Adela, Finley and Keldan; two sisters, Shirley Graham of Ellsworth and Margaret Goranson of Frontenac and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; one son, Jimmy; one grandchild, Zach and nine siblings, William, John, Beverly, Leona, Eugene, Leo, Jr., Robert, Thomas and George.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at First Lutheran Church in Red Wing with Reverend Arthur Sharot officiating. Burial will be in the Bay City Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Funeral arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
