Geraldine Madison

Geraldine Mae Madison, 84, of Red Wing died Sunday morning at St. Brigid?s at Hi-Park. She was born on March 7, 1922 in Red Wing to August and Mae (Shepard) Beckler. She attended schools in Red Wing and on October 12, 1940 she was married to David Madison in Red Wing. For 12 years she worked for Riedell Shoes. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and spending time with her family was very important to her. Survivors include three children, Sharon (Edwin) Payne of Los Alamos, NM, Gary (Nancy) Madison of Stockholm, Wis. and Wayne (Connie) Madison of Lakeville, Minn.; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one sister, Marjorie Pirius of Red Wing. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and one sister Lucille Olson. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2007, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Father Charles Uhlik officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Lisa Buisman, Brian, Melody and Carly Madison. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or the donor?s choice.
