Gerald "Jerry" Gish

Gish, Gerald "Jerry" Age 81, of Remer, MN, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011. He was born March 9, 1930 in Minneapolis. Preceded in death by parents, Schuyler and Marjorie Gish; brother, James Gish. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris; and his beloved dog, Susie; sons, David (Christine) and Stephen (Terri); daughters, Jennifer (fiancé, Richard Peterson), Elizabeth (John) Mahn and Amy (Dr. Dave) Andersen; sister-in-law, Shirley Gish; and extended family member, Rudy Cardona; grandchildren, Ashley, Lance, Jaime, Conor, Andrea, Lindsey, Austin, Stephanie, Damien; and 3 great-grandchildren, Rylan, Owen and Avery. Jerry was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and Dunwoody Institute of Mpls. A 55 year member IBEW Electricians Union Local 292. Former Knights of Columbus Grand Knight, and past president of Northland Remer Lions Club. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am, Tuesday, July 26 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Remer, MN with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Visitation also on Wednesday, July 27, 4-8 pm, with prayer service at 6:30 pm, at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 7300 - 42nd Ave N., New Hope (763-531-1777). Private interment.
