Genevieve Siems

Genevieve Siems, 96, of Mazeppa, died Sunday. She was born on October 30, 1924 in Bellechester, MN to Peter and Susan (Miller) Arendt. She grew up in the Mazeppa and Bellechester area. Genevieve and Glen were married on September 7, 1949 and raised a son and daughter.

She enjoyed being with her family, cooking, baking big family meals, embroidering, crocheting, and working with her flowers.

She is survived by her son, Ken (Carole) Siems; daughter, Sue (John) Rouchka; Grandsons, Troy, Jarrett Siems, and Tom Rouchka; and her brother, Ervin (Mary Ellen) Arendt.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Glen; parents; brothers; sisters; step-brothers; and step-sisters.

Visitation will be held Wednesday at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Larson Chapel on April 7, 2021 from 4pm - 7pm with a prayer service at 6:45pm.

Funeral Mass will be private at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mazeppa.

Burial will be at Mazeppa cemetery following Mass.
