Genevieve M. Hadler, 76, of Goodhue, died Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday January 31, 2007 at Grace Lutheran Church in rural Goodhue with the Reverend Andy Krause officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. at the church and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Genevieve Mae Meier was born on January 30, 1930 in Prescott, Wisconsin to Earl and Alice (Flynn) Meier. On September 30, 1948 Genevieve married Roland Hadler at the Oak Grove Church in Prescott, WI. The couple lived near Goodhue where they farmed. Roland died on December 3, 1993. Genevieve was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Genevieve is survived by one son, Gary Hadler of Goodhue; three daughters, Constance (Richard) Adair of Minneapolis, Mary (Chris) Collins and Bonnie (Daniel) Reese all of Goodhue; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; one sister, Corrine Albers of Oronoco; one brother, Rodney (Geraldine) Meier of Bay City, WI and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roland. Arrangements are with Mahn Family Funeral Home-Larson Chapel, Zumbrota.
