Gene LeRoy Duden, 64, of Kenyon, passed away on April 25, 2024 peacefully at his home, after a graciously fought battle against Glioblastoma, brain cancer.
Gene was born on April 25, 1960 in Red Wing to LeRoy & Hazel (Haradon) Duden.
Gene's greatest joys were his farm, raising animals, hunting, pulling ponies and riding horses. He loved sharing his knowledge with his grandchildren.
Gene was a graduate of Brown Institute with a degree in Criminal Justice, that being one of his greatest accomplishments. Gene drove semi for many years as he pounded a lot of pavement.
Gene is survived by his children, Joshua (Karla) Duden, Elizabeth (Corey) Ramer; 10 grandchildren; brother, Russell (Dawn) Duden; sisters, Donna (Roger) Swanson, Julia (Doug) Rother, and Ann (Kenny) Coward, many nieces and nephews.
Gene is preceded in death by his parent, LeRoy & Hazel Duden.
Funeral Service will be 11 am, Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson - Peterson Chapel in Lake City. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will be at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Lake City. On Line-Condolence may be placed at
