Gary Joseph Majewski

Gary Joseph Majewski, 75, of Austin, MN passed away on Tuesday May 23, 2023, at his home in Rochester, MN.  He was born on April 13, 1948, in Austin, MN to Joseph and Helen (Allen) Majewski.  He graduated from Central High School in 1967 from Austin, MN.  He enlisted in the U.S. Navy. and went on to serve in the Vietnam War.  Gary married Shelia (Lee), they had 5 children and later divorced.  He worked for Local 6 Plumbers & Pipefitters as a steamfitter and an instructor for the union.  He was then hired on with that State of MN as safety inspector.  His buddies from work gave him the nickname “Juice”.  He married Cynthia Kirkpatrick in 1994.   Gary was an avid golfer and fisherman.  After retirement, he snowbird in Meza, AZ.  He worked part time at Greenfield Lakes golf course while in AZ.  He spent every day at the golf course golfing with his wife, buddies, or his daughter.  He enjoyed fishing, going to sporting events, live music, taking his corvette for a joy ride and spending quality time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia Majewski (Kirkpatrick) of Rochester, children Dawn (Majewski) and Chuck Finley of Pine Island, MN Joseph Majewski of Owatonna MN, James Majewski of Rochester MN, Tanya Meek (Majewski) of Rochester MN, stepchildren Rhendy Tullis of St. Paul, Rob Tullis of Plainview, and Randall and Robyn Tullis of Rochester, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and daughter (Michelle Majewski).
