Gary C. Kuhfuss

Gary Charles Kuhfuss, age 67, of Hamilton, Montana, died Thursday, April 9, 2020 at his home in Hamilton. He was born Sept. 20, 1952, in Red Wing, MN, to Charles and Alice Kuhfuss and graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1970. After graduation he worked at Meyer Industries. He attended Dakota County Technical College and graduated in 1976, with a degree in Architectural Technologies. Following graduation, he moved to Montana and went on to be an expert draftsman, working for many years at Pioneer Log Homes. Gary loved anything outdoors, especially fishing and hunting and he was an accomplished marksman. He also enjoyed river rafting and was a local fishing guide.
He is survived by sisters, Jane (Gary) Albers and Barbara Roschen; a nephew, Scott Albers and nieces, Patricia Roschen and Renae (Jerry) Quade all of Red Wing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Kristin Albers.
Per Gary's wishes, no services will be held. A private family burial at Oakwood Cemetery will take place at a later date.
