Gary Lee Barghusen

Gary Lee Barghusen, age 64, of Red Wing died Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at his residence.  He was born October 2, 1957 in Red Wing to Maynard and Gladys (Martenson) Barghusen.  He graduated from Red Wing Central High School, and began working at ADM, where he worked for 42 years.  He married Heidi Freeman on June 10, 1978 and they later divorced.  Gary played baseball for the Red Wing Aces.  He enjoyed sports and being outdoors.

He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Armstrong; two grandchildren, Jasmyn and Myles Armstrong; two brothers, Clayton and Craig Barghusen; brother-in-law, Alan Jeske; niece, Laurie (Willie) Benway; nephew, Chris (Judith) Jeske.  He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cheryl Jeske; and his beloved dog, Billie.

A celebration of life will take place later in January.
