Frances C. Gehrking, 88, of Rochester, died Saturday (May 5, 2012) at Samaritan Bethany Home on Eighth.
Frances Clarissa Fellows was born Oct. 5, 1923 in Rochester to Chester and Edith (Jenkins) Fellows. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1941. On Aug. 5, 1950 she married George A. Gehrking in Rochester. Frances worked for the Mayo Clinic as a Surgical Recorder for over 35 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Tawana Livingood of Rochester, two sons, Theodore (Martha), and Thomas (Toni), both of Byron, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Frances was preceded in death by her husband George, who died Nov. 16, 2001, her parents, three sisters, and one brother.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
