Floyd A. Flynn

Floyd Albert Flynn, 48, of Prairie Island, died Sunday at his home. He was born July 6, 1959 in Red Wing to Donald and Mary Jane (Truman) Flynn. In 1978, he graduated from Red Wing Central High School. He, along with his father and brother, spent much of his life farming on the family farm in Prairie Island. He enjoyed building things, woodworking and deer hunting.

He is survived by his siblings, Lily Marie (David) Myers of Etter, Carl "Ole" Flynn of Prairie Island and Irene (Mark) Lambert of Stillwater; 2 nephews and 4 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Wednesday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, with Reverend Lynne Rigg officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Island Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carl "Ole" Flynn, Mark Lambert, David, Nathan and Russell Myers and Jon Sell. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service.
