Florence Cataldo

ROCHESTER A Memorial Mass for Florence (Midge) Cataldo will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Pax Christi Catholic Church, with the Rev. Caesar Dralega officiating.
Mrs. Cataldo, 83, of Rochester, died Wednesday (Jan. 21, 2009) at the Golden Living Center West.
Florence Elnora Miller was born July 3, 1925, in Rochester, MN, and graduated from Rochester High and Central. On July 12, 1944 she married William Lehman, Jr., and the couple relocated to Hastings, Neb., where they worked at an ammunition plant until WWII ended. Upon returning to Rochester, Florence worked at a flower shop and later as a bookkeeper for Marriott Food Services at the Mayo Clinic. Mr. Lehman died in 1962. On May 6, 1967 she married August Cataldo. The family loved camping at Whitewater State Park and would go every chance they could. Mr. Cataldo died in 1985. Noted for her humor and kindness, Florence had the ability to brighten anyone's day and make everyone smile. She enjoyed flowers, camping, and her family.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy (Gary) Zirbes of Rochester; two sons, John (Marianna) Lehman of Wadsworth, Ohio, and Rich (Joyce) Lehman of Rochester; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a sister, Crystal Day; and a brother, Paul Miller; both of Rochester. Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call one hour before the service at the church.
