Eunice Charlotte Nadeau, 82, of Red Wing, died Tuesday at the Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. She was born on November 11, 1924, in Spring Garden, Minnesota to Clarence and Myrtle (Johnson) Martenson. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School. On January 21, 1947, she married Rolland ?Blackie? Nadeau in Hastings. She worked for Durkee Atwood, Northwest Aeronautical, LaGrange Shoe, Riedell Shoes and Red Wing Shoe Company retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Paul?s Lutheran Church and past member of the Burnson-Lillyblad #1218 VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed collecting cookbooks, going to garage sales and her pet birds. Survivors include her husband, Rolland ?Blackie?; two sons, Bruce (Nancy) Nadeau and Randy (Christy) Nadeau all of Red Wing; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Lloyd (Jean) Martenson of Vasa; one sister, Gladys Barghusen of Red Wing and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bradley on January 13, 2006 and one brother, Curtis Martenson. Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Kristen Schlauderaff officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Duane Martenson, Karl Lunder, Clayton, Craig and Gary Barghusen and Al Jeske. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Memorial are preferred to the donor?s choice.
