Eugene Herbert Fritzinger

Eugene Herbert Fritzinger, 79, of Welch, died Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Mayo Clinic – St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, Minnesota.

Eugene was born on March 18, 1944 to Herbert Eugene and Lucille O. (Bruso) Fritzinger in St. Paul, Minnesota. Eugene was united in marriage to Judith Annette Berke on February 14, 1974 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He loved spending time with his family. Eugene also enjoyed fishing and spending time in the outdoors at his cabin on a lake.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judith Fritzinger; two sons, Patrick Fritzinger and Vince Fritzinger; and two grandchildren, Brantley and Shyanne. Eugene was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Bee; his parents, Herbert and Lucille; and his four sisters.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing, Minnesota. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
