KASSON ? The funeral for Esther Stebbins will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mahn Family Funeral Home ? Rochester Chapel with the Rev. David Berg officiating. Burial will be in Pine Island Cemetery. Ms. Stebbins, 50, of Kasson, died suddenly at her home Thursday (Jan. 25, 2007). Esther May Ward was born March 30, 1956 in Rochester. She grew up in Byron and attended Byron schools. She moved to Rochester and worked in the Dry Cleaning Industry most recently at Nature?s Best Cleaners. She also operated a Day Care for three years. She married Robert ?Baldy? Stebbins, they were later divorced. She moved to Kasson in 2001. She enjoyed fishing, Bingo, and going to the Casino. Survivors include her son David ?DJ? Stebbins of Kasson; three grandchildren; her mother Irene Ward of Rochester; three sisters, Vicki Jordan of Ellsworth, WI; Joyce Ward and Ruth (David) Schneider both of Rochester; four brothers, Arnold Ward, Jr. and David (Cindy) both of Rochester; Ronald (Mary) Ward of Yuma, AZ; and John (Deb) Ward of Luck, WI, and her special friend David Hain of Kasson. Her father preceded her in death. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, and one hour before the service Monday Mahn Family Funeral Home ? Rochester Chapel.
