Eric L. Stumpf

Eric Larry Stumpf, 34, of Red Wing, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, December 28, 2015. He was born March 26, 1981, in Red Wing, to Larry and Rosanne (Winberg) Stumpf and graduated from Red Wing High School. He married Stephanie Martie in 2006, and together they had three sons, Caden, Gavin and Isaiah; they later divorced. He worked for his father's construction company and for General Construction, as well as River Valley Lawn Care. He enjoyed fishing, riding 4-wheeler, cooking and making his home-made grilled pizzas, going up north to his family cabin and spending time and playing with his boys.

He is survived by his parents, Larry and Rosanne Stumpf of Hay Creek; his brother, Justin Stumpf of Hay Creek; 3 sons, Caden, Gavin and Isaiah Stumpf of Zumbrota; a niece, Jadyn Stumpf and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hilbert and Margie Stumpf; maternal grandparents, Milton and June Winberg and an uncle, Lee Winberg.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hay Creek, with Reverend Lowell Sorenson officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 pm, Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to the family, for his three sons.
