ROCHESTER ? A memorial service for Emma Horn will be Noon Saturday at Mahn Family Funeral Home ? Rochester Chapel with the Rev. Linda Helberg of Bethel Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Moorhead, MN. Ms. Horn, 97, of Rochester, formerly of Moorhead, died Monday (Oct. 9, 2006) at Rochester Health and Rehab East. Emma Fuher was born Sept. 14, 1909 at Merricourt, ND was raised and attended country schools there. She moved to Moorhead when she was in her early 20?s and lived there for over 60 years. She married Peter Horn, Jr. and they were later divorced. She had resided at Rochester Health and Rehab since 2000. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Survivors include her daughter Lois (Allen) Skauge of Rochester, four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and three sisters Helen Sprouse of Ellendale, ND; Marg (Kipp) Leet of California; and Lola Dockter of Plover, WI. One son, two sisters, and four brothers preceded her in death. Memorials are suggested to the Minnesota Down?s Society or a charity of the donor?s choice.
