Elmer George Fick

Elmer George Fick, 94, of Lake City passed away at his home on October 14, 2020.

Elmer married Barbara DeFrang on May 1, 1948 in Lake City and they had three daughters; Katherine (Gary) Yotter, Beverly (Ann Furlotte) Fick, and Bonnie (John Leak) Fick. They farmed in Wabasha County and retired to Lake City. Elmer then volunteered with the Lions Club and was District Governor. Elmer loved to have his family and friends around, there was always an open door with grandkids & great grandkids often around. We will always remember his wonderful smile and hugs.

Elmer is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Katherine of Lake City, MN., Beverly of Livermore, CA., Bonnie of Carlsbad, NM.; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers, Willard, Marvin and Richard Fick; sister, Delores Kline. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one baby brother, father and mother-in-law.

A private family burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery in Lake City. Pastor Nathan Cordes will be officiating.  Online condolences may be left for the family online at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
